# auth.md — Agent access for ADEX Construction

## Summary

ADEX Construction publishes a **public, read-only** website and JSON API. Public
pages, the site API, the API catalog, the MCP endpoint, and the agent skills are
available **anonymously**. No account, API key, OAuth token, or registration is
required to read them.

The only interactive business workflow is a **quote request**. A quote request is
a human-reviewed sales enquiry, not an account registration. It creates no
credentials and grants no access to protected data.

## Audience

This guide is for autonomous agents (LLM assistants, crawlers, MCP clients, and
A2A clients) that look for `/auth.md` before using a site's resources.

## Protected resources

The admin dashboard (`/admin`) and staff-only Supabase tables require authorized
ADEX staff accounts. There is **no automated agent registration** for these
resources. Agents must not attempt to access, enumerate, or register for admin
resources.

To request pricing, an agent may direct a user to:

The quote form collects contact details, project details, required materials,
contractor requirements, budget, and delivery preferences. Quotes are free and
are reviewed by the ADEX team before pricing is confirmed.

## Machine-readable registration metadata

The site publishes protected-resource metadata at:

- `https://adex-construction.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource`

and authorization-server metadata at:

- `https://adex-construction.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server`
- `https://adex-construction.com/.well-known/openid-configuration`

These documents describe the site's **anonymous public access model**. The OAuth
endpoint URLs are reserved, non-active stubs used for standards-based discovery;
the site has no live OAuth token issuance. Do not probe the registration or claim
URLs during a passive scan.
